Stone Sour Biography
American rock band Stone Sour is a well-recognised music group that formed in California during the year 1992. Stone Sour was initiated by Corey Taylor (better known as the vocalist of the rock group “Slipknot”) and Joel Ekman who later on left the band. Although respected in the American alternative metal scene, Stone Sour collectively decided to disband when Taylor announced in 1997 that he was to join Slipknot. From then on, Stone Sour took a long musical break before announcing a reunion in 2025. They now continue to perform in various venues and released several chart-topping hits. Some of their most recent hit singles include “Made of Scars,” “Sillyworld,” and “Through Glass.” Today, members Corey Taylor, James Root, Josh Rand, Shawn Economaki, and Roy Mayorga enjoy being part of the Grammy-nominated band they have worked hard for.
